I started training with Liana after receiving a challenge from my cardiologist to improve my day-to-day health habits. I have a heart condition that restricts the amount and intensity of exercise I can do, so I was initially worried about being able to find someone who could help me exercise effectively within those limits. I’m not able to lift more than 20 lbs at a time, and my heart rate must stay below 140. Instead of shying away from my limits, Liana really embraced them as a challenge and came up with some fun and interesting ways for me to work out. She found ways for me to use my own body weight as a tool, designed resistance exercises and even taught me how to box (so fun!). After only two months of working out with Liana, I’ve seen some exciting gains: almost all my body measurements dropped by 1-3 inches, and I feel way stronger in general. I really notice the difference in my mountain biking – I can now make it up hills that I couldn’t ride before, and rides that used to wipe me out now feel way easier. I can’t wait to see how my new-found strength helps me this ski season! Liana has a way of making me feel like I can tackle anything, and I wholeheartedly recommend her as a trainer. Thanks Liana!
